Pick Up a Copy Here!

"The trees spoke to us, as their branches danced in the wind. Cool rain covered us then, and I was grateful that I could still feel that at least, if nothing else. Together we drifted through the trees as they sang, “You are going home, home to stay forever and always. Darlings, you have made it. Meet with the wizard, cat, and owl. They will show you the way.”
With their branches, they pushed us towards the great old Elm that had helped us journey once before. It seemed to glow and to welcome us to lay in the leaves before it with our bags tumbling at our sides. Edgar and I sat before the tree, looking through its branches, while the starlit sky bled through and the rain extinguished any trace of nervousness or fright.
You are now ready to go home, Aleka and Edgar. I will help you make the journey - never fear.
“Am I already dead?” I asked, feeling foolish to even ask such a thing.
As you pass through the door, your human body will expire on Earth. You are going to a special afterlife dimension created by a wizard. His name is Zeferaus. Wysteria is a gentle world composed of memories, and sometimes, dreams.
The tree fell silent, and a deliciously cool breeze swept a gentle hand across my skin and through my hair. I felt warm arms wrap around me, and smelled a soft afternoon tinged well with rain. Mother Earth bade me goodbye before Edgar and I passed through the moon door in the tree
as we did once before."
---A passage from Chapter seven of Beneath Rain and Stars, Book Three in The Hidden World of Wysteria Series by Owl Willows
